Shut up and start buying stuff from Facebook!

Following the news that it is testing a deals service, Facebook has installed a so-called Facebook Deals subscription page that permits users to subscribe to deal updates in their news-feeds.The new deals service supports San Francisco, Atlanta, Austin, Dallas, San Diego with “more cities coming soon.”

Socialwok (allegedly) adds collaboration to Outlook

Socialwok is a free add-on for Google Apps that you can pick up at the Google Apps Marketplace.

I installed it a month ago but have never really been able to connect people in my office using this app. I know it’s working, but it still does not really seem to be adding much interaction. I’ll keep trying and let you know if it truly does the job. In the meantime, here’s a video about using Socialwok with Outlook. Enjoy.

Just started putting up the practicehack …

Just started putting up the practicehacker page on Google Sites. Does anyone else remember JotSpot? Google owns it now, and I admit it makes for a better system than the old Google Sites. Anyone agree?
